AI SEO That Sounds Human: Save Time, Rank Higher

An AI draft can sound polished before it is ready to represent your business. The editing work is to make it accurate, useful and specific enough to help a reader decide. A friendly tone alone does not establish credibility.

Begin with the purpose of the page. A prospect considering a custom project needs to understand the problem you solve, the evidence behind your capability and the next step. General claims about innovation or growth rarely answer those questions.

Check the opening against the reader’s question

Read the first paragraph without the rest of the page. Does it explain what the reader will learn or what the service can help them do? Replace broad introductions with a direct answer and the qualification that matters.

Use the terms your customers recognize. Explain technical details when they affect scope, cost or a decision. Do not require a business owner to understand the implementation before they can recognize that the service is relevant.

Verify every concrete claim

Check dates, prices, specifications, locations and named products against the source. Look closely at phrases that imply a guarantee: “always,” “instant,” “predictable” or “works with any system.” Replace them with the actual conditions where necessary.

Statistics and client results need supporting records and a defined period. An example should be labeled as an example. Never let a draft invent a testimonial or convert a hypothetical customer into a completed case study.

Add the details that demonstrate experience

Explain a real requirement, a difficult dependency or an implementation choice that affected the result. Describe what was delivered and how someone uses it. These details make capability easier to assess than repeated adjectives about expertise.

For a project unlike the reader’s own, explain the transferable skill. Product-data organization, account permissions, document generation and workflow testing can apply across industries without claiming that every system is identical.

Review the structure and evidence

Give each section a clear job. Remove duplicated advice and keep related information together. Use lists for steps or comparisons, not as a substitute for explaining why the information matters.

Link factual references to the original source where possible. Google’s helpful content guidance can inform an editorial review, but the page still needs your own useful substance rather than a summary of general advice.

Check the commercial path

Make sure the article’s offer matches the current service and pricing pages. Review the wording of buttons and links. A reader should know whether the next step is a project discussion, a booking or a purchase.

Provide a private inquiry route for business details. A call to comment can remain for general discussion, but it should not be the only way to contact the service provider.

Read the published page

Previewing the draft text is not the same as checking the actual page. Inspect headings, spacing, links and the mobile experience through an appropriate review process. Confirm that the content management system has not introduced duplicate headings or broken blocks.

After publication, use questions from real prospects to identify what remains unclear. Good editing continues as the business learns which explanations help readers make a confident next decision.
